The History behind Boston's Finest Cookies.
Boston Cookies is our latest creation. We started in 1973 in California
under the name East West Cookery. We moved our operation to Boston in 1975.
Over the years, East West Cookery became Season's Harvest. We pioneered
several lines of products. Season's Harvest made some of the finest products
for the natural food industry. Our family of dedicated cooks and bakers
created salads, deliciously wholesome sandwiches, outstanding
cakes and pies, as well as salad dressings and fresh pressed juices. We
supplied small and large health food stores from Maine to New York.
The bright idea to begin baking Boston Cookies came to us in 1998.
The immediate popularity of this, our newest creation, caused us to turn
over all of our attention to baked goods.
Over the past few decades, we have been heartened by America's increasing
demand for natural foods. Our vegan cookies
are a hit with health-conscious
folks, and those who hold strong beliefs about the ethical treatment of
animals. And, because they are made without animal products, our cookies
are low-fat for those with dietary concerns. And for those trying to limit
daily sugar intake, our sugar-free cookies
offer a delicious, satisfying treat.
We believe that Boston Cookies was our mission waiting to happen. It's
wonderful that the time has come to share my mother’s treats with the rest
of the world.
I have great memories of my childhood. The aroma of fresh baked cookies,
lots of laughter and a house filled with happy sounds. Boston Cookies
brings back those good old days of deliciously rich cookies, using my mom's
unique recipes (she always baked with the healthiest ingredients). Boston
Cookies is a way of life. It is about healthy food, good friends and respect
for nature. Enjoy and share with others.
